I suppose it has to happen to all helicopter companies? We had to say goodbye to our faithful and sturdy 206L1 G-CCGN. I have never felt so guilty in selling any aircraft before! But things move forward and with our newly arrived twin in the hanger something had to go. The new owner Carl Meyer at Profight Nordic based at Norrtalje Sweden was waiting for his new ‘toy’ and we had agreed to delivery the aircraft before Christmas. So, it was on a cold but clear morning Bill Lowry and myself pulled GN out of the Biggin Hill Helicopters Hanger for the last time.
We were both looking forward to what we knew would be an exciting trip up through France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.
