Here I am travelling again. I am on one of those commercial airliners reminiscing fondly about my last trip through a FBO utilizing a General Aviation aircraft. Oh, the ease and convenience that this freedom has brought to the world. It is amazing what general aviation means to the west and the now developing economies of the world.

I am an American. One that has been traveling the globe for the past couple of years looking for countries and people that can benefit from the world of General Aviation (okay, maybe you know by now that I am in sales).  But in reality I don’t think enough of us take the time to understand how important General Aviation has been, both to the development of industry, and to the growth of nations.

Think about it.  The root of all aviation is really general aviation. It was not a military contract or government funded program that first put aviation into the world (though obviously they helped along the way) ...
