Jeremy Paxton in Gloucestershire with his MD500E

G-MRRR (shown above outside Jeremy Paxton’s Gloucestershire house) is a late serial number E model with the Alison C20R turbine that was bought in Russia and then flown back by Martin Lovell and then painstakingly and heartachingly rebuilt on a nut and bolt basis with all components being zero timed at a cost of over $1,000,000!

The paint is by Edmondson and the registrations and livery were all by the artist Alex Baynes created using needle point airbrushes over a 90 hour intensive work period. The ship has wire strike kit, night scanner, full Garmin IFR avionics fit, MP3 player, ELT, Aux tank, mist eliminator, Facet oil filter, Connelly hide interior by Farnborough aircraft interiors and cruises at 135 knots....
