Farnborough 2008
As in the earlier shows HeliExpo and FIDAE in Chile, environmental issues and the price of fuel dominated the conversations at Farnborough, but there were also many murmurings, as there were in the national press, about the possible failure of airlines, the credit crunch and the downturn in the economy. However, and somewhat surprisingly, helicopter companies remained upbeat, perhaps because they took the view that business at a high level will be relatively unaffected, apart from a greater emphasis on hard work.
