Tony Hancock, the MD of TLC Handling has a new helilifting machine under development. It will, he says, we ready in 8 months, and is a result of working with his current machine and the customers that use it.

Hancock says, “I realised over the last 10 years that there are certain areas we cannot cover with the present machine.” He says he is aiming “to make the new machine more hangar friendly, so it can now go sideways and still have the same APU.”

The new machine has four main changes.

Firstly, it has the same basic helicopter handling character and moves under the helicopter in the same way, but now the wheels can be changed to carry the helicopter in a sideways or forwards direction...
