On September 12th Verta, the hotel on the Battersea London Heliport will finally open its doors to guests, and will then become the first hotel on a heliport in the UK, according to PremiAir’s MD David McRobert.

The hotel has 77 bedrooms, and a spa and health centre. Although it is only 15 minutes from Central London, PremiAir and their parent company Von Essen are aware of the traffic problems getting into the centre and are looking at alternative ways of travelling to Westminster...
