In a letter printed in your recent edition (Summer 2010) one of your readers expressed concerns with the ATC service provided at Redhill. As the letter was de-identified may I ask you to pass on my response.

I should like to point out that some pilots do not help themselves; a great deal of information is available to pilots flying in to and out of Redhill yet they fail to self brief. Consequently, we have pilots who do not know the VRPs, join in to the fixed-wing circuit or cut through it...
