It is with great pleasure I have the chance to write about one of my personal favourite country house hotels. I have known of Armathwaite Hall for many years, going back to my days as a touring motorcyclist, (Vincent Black Shadow), and my early experiences rock climbing in the Lake District with my older brother, Ronny.
