Visiting Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter in Tauranga, NZ

The Tauranga rescue helicopter has been in operation for 16 years and saved many lives. They use an AS350 Squirrel, fly 24 hours and the pilots are now NVG trained. It is a multi purpose service, acting also as a fire service, EMS helicopter and sometimes as a police aid.
