Helicopter Life Autumn 2020
HL Autumn 2020_Cover
As drug smugglers become more and more sophisticated they learn to use the most devious weapons available, such as helicopters. Robinson R44s and R66s are particularly popular as, usually owned by private pilots, they regularly fly unusual routes and times, for example, from Europe to the UK day and night. Hence, they are excellent cover for smuggling Class A drugs. The UK is not alone here. See the cover story by David Oliver.
